Founded in 1999, Lawrence Nurses provides exceptional care for end-of-life patients who wish to remain at home. Our dedicated team works in partnership with patients, families, carers, and the Community Nursing Service.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Bank Palliative Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will provide clinical support to palliative care patients and their carers within their own homes, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Main Responsibilities- Provide holistic nursing care to palliative patients, prioritising their needs and wishes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including DN & Community Nursing Teams, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers to understand their concerns and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely updates on patient conditions.
- Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- A minimum of two years' recent experience in palliative care, preferably in the NHS or similar settings.
- Registered Nurse (RN) Registration Level 1 or Level 2, with relevant post-registration qualifications, experience, and further study.
