The Job
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable care companion to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support to a young disabled female at her family home during the Christmas break. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in somebody's life and gain valuable experience in care work.
About the Role
The client requires assistance with various aspects of daily life, including personal care, health care, social support, and daily living tasks such as cooking and cleaning. Full training will be provided in the client's particular needs, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals without previous care experience.
Skills and Qualifications
To be suitable for this role, you will need to be physically fit, calm, patient, friendly, and caring. You should also have good organizational skills, be able to work on your own initiative, and have a mature and responsible attitude. Access to your own vehicle is essential, and you will need to be comfortable with pets. Punctuality and respect for the client's home environment are also essential qualities.
Compensation
The salary for this role is £160 per day, with on-call support outside of the main working hours. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in care work, and our client coordinator team will be available to provide on-call support.

Our client is a full-time electric wheelchair user who values independence and has a positive outlook on life. She enjoys reading, learning new things, and exploring the world around her. She is looking for a compassionate and reliable care companion who can support her daily needs and help her maintain her independence.
