Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Mail Delivery Specialist to join our team in Tiverton. As a key member of our delivery network, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers on a daily basis.

About the Role:

  • This is a permanent role within Royal Mail Group, offering competitive pay and benefits.
  • You will work 40 hours per week, across 5 days out of 7, including Sundays on a rota basis.
  • The shifts are varied, covering mail deliveries from 07:15 to 15:15 and parcel support deliveries from 12:00 to 20:00.
  • You will also work one in two Sundays on parcel support deliveries from 08:00 to 16:00 or from 11:00 to 19:00.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Delivering mail and parcels to customers on a daily basis.
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and representing Royal Mail positively in the community.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A guaranteed hourly rate of £12.54 p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours if part-time).
  • Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for more than 40 hours a week.
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if part-time) and the option to buy extra leave each year.

Requirements:
