Royal Mail Courier

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Royal Mail Courier to join our team in Tiverton. As a courier, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers on a daily basis, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery.

About the Position:

• This is a permanent role within Royal Mail Group, offering competitive pay and benefits.
• You will work 40 hours per week, across 5 days out of 7, including Sundays on a rota basis.
• The shifts are varied, covering mail deliveries from 07:15 to 15:15 and parcel support deliveries from 12:00 to 20:00.
• You will also work one in two Sundays on parcel support deliveries from 08:00 to 16:00 or from 11:00 to 19:00.

Your Key Accountabilities:

• Deliver mail and parcels to customers on a daily basis.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and targets.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Royal Mail positively in the community.

Compensation Package:

• A guaranteed hourly rate of £12.54 p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours if part-time).
• Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for more than 40 hours a week.
