Join Our Team as a Mental Health Therapist

Ellie Mental Health is a community-driven organization dedicated to providing quality mental health care. We're seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses and develop treatment plans
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to improve access to mental health care
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve their goals
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive working relationship with clients and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work from an accredited college or university
  • New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor
  • 3+ years of clinical experience
  • Experience with completing evaluations, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Ability to demonstrate stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Credentialed with insurance panels
  • Experience with trauma-focused therapies (EMDR, DBT, CBT)
  • Knowledge of humanistic therapy and strength-based approaches
  • Experience working with older adults (65+)
