About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Ellie Mental Health, PLLP. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients and contributing to the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses and develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and services
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution
  • New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with trauma-focused therapies (EMDR, DBT, CBT)
  • Knowledge of humanistic therapy approaches
  • Ability to work with diverse populations, including older adults
