Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Medical Clerk to join our Patient Access Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clinical teams, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective access to medical services.
The role will involve managing patient records, processing referrals, and coordinating appointments. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information
- Process referrals and coordinate appointments with clinical teams
- Provide administrative support to clinical staff, including data entry and record-keeping
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clerical role
- Competitive salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
