Job Title: Wellbeing Assistant

Limetree Retirement Village, a part of the Retirement Villages Group, is seeking a Wellbeing Assistant to join their team.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Wellbeing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls within the village.
  • Assess the nature of emergencies and provide appropriate assistance.
  • Administer first aid and basic medical care when necessary.
  • Coordinate with emergency services as required.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff during emergency situations.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and actions taken.
  • Provide moral and emotional support to our residents.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an emergency responder, EMT, or similar role is preferred.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid is required.
  • Educated to NVQ Level 3.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations.
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of elderly residents.
  • Physical ability to respond quickly to emergencies and assist residents as needed.
