About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as Deputy General Manager. This is a senior management position that will play a key role in the operational delivery and strategic planning of the Radiology Clinical Service Unit (CSU).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the General Manager in providing operational delivery, strategic business planning, and leadership for the CSU.
  2. Work with the Triumvirate Team to provide operational business management and planning support across all specialties within the CSU.
  3. Develop and implement local strategic plans to ensure achievement of performance objectives.

Requirements

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest teaching hospitals in Europe and a regional and national centre for specialist treatment. The Radiology Clinical Service Unit delivers a diagnostic and treatment imaging service for over 600,000 patients a year within a budget of just over £71m.

The CSU employs a diverse workforce of over 850 employees across multiple disciplines, including medical, nursing, radiographers, and other AHPs, clinical/healthcare scientists and technologists, administrative and clerical staff.
