Deputy Shop Manager Job Description
At ExtraCare Charitable Trust, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Shop Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Shop Manager in driving sales and profit, managing and motivating a team of dedicated volunteers, and maintaining high visual standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Shop Manager in driving sales and profit.
- Assist in the recruitment, management, and motivation of a team of dedicated volunteers.
- Sort and process stock, deal with customers, and run the shop in the manager's absence.
Requirements:
- A manager or supervisor with previous retail experience.
- A confident manager able to motivate and develop a team of volunteers.
- Hands-on and lead-from-the-front approach with creativity to come up with new ideas for generating donations.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality and a belief in teamwork.
- Prior experience working in the Charity sector is desirable.
