Practice Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team at Shotfield Medical Practice. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent clinical services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide Quality Patient Care: Deliver effective and responsive healthcare services to patients, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Clinical Duties: Perform a range of clinical tasks, including cervical cytology, chronic disease management, patient education, and wound management.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records, manage medical supplies, and ensure the smooth operation of clinical services.
- Communication and Teamwork: Establish effective working relationships with colleagues, communicate effectively with patients, and participate in team meetings and discussions.
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse, Adult Nurse Diploma or Degree, and relevant qualifications in Asthma and COPD management.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, with expertise in cytology, chronic disease management, wound management, and ear irrigation.
- Skills and Knowledge: Excellent communication and time management skills, up-to-date knowledge of NICE guidance, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Organisation: Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
