Practice Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team at Shotfield Medical Practice. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Main Responsibilities- Provide Quality Patient Care: Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and treatment.
- Manage Chronic Conditions: Work with patients to manage chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and COPD, providing education and support to promote healthy lifestyles.
- Conduct Clinical Procedures: Perform a range of clinical procedures, including cervical cytology, wound management, and ear irrigation, with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
- Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Participate in Clinical Governance: Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring that our practice remains at the forefront of healthcare excellence.
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a Diploma or Degree in Adult Nursing, and relevant post-registration qualifications in areas such as asthma and COPD management.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in chronic disease management, wound care, and clinical procedures.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
