About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Hertfordshire. As a Clinical Lead in General Adult Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing medical expertise, clinical leadership, and support to our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic assessments and treatment to patients with severe, complex, and high-risk psychiatric conditions.
  • Assess emergency work, including new referrals and difficulties with the existing patient population.
  • Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, including recording clinical activity accurately and comprehensively.
  • Participate in service and business planning activity for the locality and the whole mental health service.
  • Manage, appraise, and give professional supervision to junior medical staff.
