About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Mental Health Team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical expertise and clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team, including diagnostic assessments and treatment of patients with complex psychiatric conditions.
  • Assess and manage emergency work, including new referrals and difficulties with existing patient populations.
  • Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, including accurate and comprehensive recording of clinical activity.
  • Contribute to service and business planning activities for the locality and mental health service.
  • Manage, appraise, and provide professional supervision to junior medical staff, in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
