Job Description

This challenging yet rewarding role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As an Employment Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting clients with diverse challenges, developing person-centred action plans, and engaging with local employers to promote job opportunities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients with mental health issues, disabilities, or other barriers to employment.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand client needs, strengths, and areas for development.
  • Develop SMART action plans to address client barriers and promote employability.
  • Engage with employers to identify job opportunities and facilitate client placements.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients during and after placement to ensure sustained progress and success.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience as an Employment Advisor or Job Coach, with a proven track record of supporting unemployed individuals into work. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are also essential for this role.
