DPDgroup is seeking a driven Management Accountant to join our Finance team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the financial aspects of our extensive network of depots and owner-driver operations. You'll collaborate closely with the Finance Manager on various projects, building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing weekly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, monthly and year-end reporting, and preparing concise reports for management review.
  • Developing annual financial plans and presenting them to senior leadership.
  • Preparing accurate monthly balance sheets.
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Streamlining processes to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with:

  • A full accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and at least one year of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree and strong numerical skills.
  • Proven experience in a senior management accounting position within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with reporting tools.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
