Management Accountant

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our high-performing team at DPD Group UK. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and analysis to drive business growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the preparation of management information, including weekly and monthly accounts, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure costs are recorded accurately and variances to plan are investigated.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with company policy and manage the collation of balance sheets on a monthly basis.
- Provide financial support and analysis for planning and projects, including the preparation and review of presentational information.
- Assist with the preparation and review of management accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present results in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to self-manage workload and prioritize tasks according to deadlines, importance, and urgency.
- Excellent problem-solving attitude with a drive to deliver results.
- Ability to build rapport with the finance team and other departments, with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent computer literacy skills, proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
