About the Role

We're seeking a highly flexible and personable individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Residential Property Maintenance Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting dampness and mould assessments in residential properties, as well as conducting pre- and post-inspection visits to ensure agreed works have been completed.

You'll also support the investigation and resolution of construction/building-related defects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained. Additionally, you'll assist in the resolution of HHSRS hazards identified in homes, including liaising with colleagues in different directorates when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support dampness and mould assessments in residential properties
  • Conduct pre- and post-inspection visits to ensure agreed works have been completed
  • Investigate and resolve construction/building-related defects
  • Assist in resolving HHSRS hazards identified in homes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high degree of flexibility
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify root causes of dampness and mould issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey survey findings and recommendations
  • Proven experience supporting dampness and mould assessments in residential properties
  • Knowledge of building construction, materials, and the causes of dampness and mould growth
