Your primary objective will be to identify new business opportunities and work closely with our Sales Director to create and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
You will be the lead sales interface for your customers, requiring an in-depth understanding of their business needs and environment to ensure that their requirements are met and their experience is aligned with our company values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Manage existing customers to maximize sales revenue
- Build a business development plan targeting new markets and customers
- Achieve annual sales targets
- Build a funnel and pipeline of new opportunities for future years
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Relationship Management:
- Build long-term relationships with customers and their key stakeholders
- Maintain industry knowledge through various means and resources
- Understand customers' strategic direction, profit and loss, and other financial measurements
- Manage and facilitate communications to achieve desired outcomes
- Ensure customer requests are responded to accurately and timely
- Manage and overcome internal challenges to meet customer needs
Ongoing Support:
- Provide advice to customers on Tait solutions and how they will support their requirements
- Assess and review the provision of customer and end-user support
- Manage customer relationships, using a range of skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Develop and assist with the implementation of internal policies and procedures for supporting the sales function
Requirements:
- Experience in sales and commercial roles
- Knowledge and experience in sales methodology, contractual documentation, and negotiation processes
- Strong skills in building and maintaining customer relationships
- Confidently and consistently deliver presentations adapted to the audience
- Industry knowledge and experience in the markets in which customers operate
