Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our medium secure unit at the Trevor Gibbens Unit in Maidstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the wards and the Forensic Outreach Liaison Service (FOLS). They will work closely with colleagues to ensure excellent clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
The Service Manager will use data and analysis to drive better outcomes for patients and will actively coordinate initiatives to improve service delivery. They will work collaboratively with other providers to ensure seamless patient pathways and service user engagement.
Key Accountabilities
The Service Manager will be responsible for:
- Providing demonstrable assurance that the quality of clinical services meets high standards
- Investigating serious incidents, complaints, and staffing issues
- Appraisal, supervision, and training of staff
- Compliance with mandatory reporting
- Working closely with Team Managers and other professionals to ensure effective care pathways
