Operational Team Lead for Mental Health and Learning Disability Services

Job Overview
The Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust is seeking an experienced Operational Team Lead to join its Mental Health of Learning Disability Service. This role will involve providing operational management and leadership to a multi-professional specialist team, ensuring the delivery of a safe and effective service to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, monitoring and evaluating team performance, and liaising with other Directorates to promote patient experience and recovery. They will also work closely with the local authority, Community Learning Disability Team, and other statutory and non-statutory agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing staff in accordance with Trust objectives and standards.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and auditing the performance and clinical practice of the team.
- Liaising and working collaboratively with other Directorates to promote and enhance patient experience and recovery.
- Working closely with the local authority, Community Learning Disability Team, and other statutory and non-statutory agencies.
- Supporting the MHLD Service Manager to embed the quality strategy defined by the Directorate.
