About the Role
We are seeking an experienced mental health nurse to take on a leadership position within our established Medway CMHT in North Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to make a positive impact on clinical care by providing specialist advice and education to staff.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in mental health nursing, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a collaborative approach. They will be responsible for leading by example, championing quality care, advocating for their team, sharing their expertise, ensuring seamless service delivery, optimizing service flow, and providing direct care to clients with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, providing clinical guidance and support to nurses within both programs
- Champion quality care, working alongside Matrons and Head of Nursing to implement high-quality clinical practices
- Advocate for your team, addressing concerns and ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed
- Share your expertise, staying up-to-date on best practices in mental health and mentoring colleagues through training and knowledge sharing
- Ensure seamless service delivery, collaborating with the wider team to assess client needs and ensure placement in the most appropriate program
- Optimize service flow, identifying areas for improvement and working collaboratively to streamline the client journey
- Provide direct care, maintaining a small caseload of clients with complex needs
