As an Advanced Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with NHS Professionals, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of mental health settings across England. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with severe and enduring mental health problems, as well as delivering training and development opportunities via our Trust and NHSP's own academy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for service users, using evidence-based tools and models of care.
  • To provide care coordination to a defined caseload of service users, working within the Recovery Model of practice and maintaining service users within their own environment in the community.
  • To maximize the use of resources within the team and available in the community.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Duty Nurse in an Acute Hospital environment within the last 3 years, NMC Professional Registration, and Restraint and ILS Training completed within the last 12 months (desirable).

This is a flexible role that offers the opportunity to work a choice of Bank shifts or fixed-term placements across various client Trusts in England. The salary for this role is £19.10 per hour for day shifts, £24.83 per hour for Saturday and night shifts, and £30.56 per hour for Sunday and bank holidays.
