About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Children's Nurse to join our team as a Research Nurse in the Women's and Children's Research Unit at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the setup and delivery of clinical trials and non-interventional NIHR portfolio trials across all paediatric clinical specialities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support Principal Investigators in the setup and delivery of clinical trials and non-interventional NIHR portfolio trials
  • Work collaboratively with the Women's and Children's Research Unit team to ensure the safe conduct of all research, including clinical trials, in accordance with regulatory and legal frameworks
  • Provide education and training to clinical staff on the specifics of running clinical trials
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective and efficient workload completion
Requirements
  • Registered Children's Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Teaching qualification
  • Previous experience working within a clinical research environment
  • Full drivers licence
