We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 5 Children's Community Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and delivering high-quality clinical research studies in the Women's and Children's Research Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Principal Investigators in the setup and delivery of clinical trials and non-interventional NIHR portfolio trials.
- Work with the Women's and Children's research unit to support the safe conduct of all research, including clinical trials, in accordance with regulatory and legal frameworks.
- Collaborate with colleagues based within UHBW to deliver high-quality research studies.
- Provide education and training to clinical staff on the specifics of running clinical trials.
- Support the development and implementation of research protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- Registered Children's Nurse with a relevant degree or working towards one.
- Considerable current experience of working with children in a clinical context at Band 5 or above.
- Interest in working in a research environment.
- Full driver's license essential for community support.
