Job Title: Band 5 Children's Community Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Children's Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 Children's Community Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the safe conduct of clinical research studies in our Women's and Children's Research Unit.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support Principal Investigators in the setup and delivery of clinical trials and non-interventional NIHR portfolio trials.
  • Work collaboratively with the Women's and Children's research unit to ensure the successful conduct of research studies.
  • Provide education and training to clinical staff on the specifics of running clinical trials.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (Child) with current NMC registration.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Teaching qualification.
  • Undergraduate degree in Nursing, Science or Health related discipline.
  • Immunisation and Vaccine training.
