Associate Director of Nursing and Quality Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Nursing and Quality to join our team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Nursing, Quality and Professions Directorate, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our nursing services and ensuring the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership and quality improvement, with experience of working in a senior management role within the NHS. You will be responsible for leading and managing our nursing teams, developing and implementing quality and patient safety strategies, and working closely with our Deputy Director of Nursing, Quality and Professions to achieve our Trust's objectives.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage our nursing teams to deliver high-quality care and services.
- Develop and implement quality and patient safety strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce harm.
- Work closely with our Deputy Director of Nursing, Quality and Professions to achieve our Trust's objectives and deliver our quality and patient safety agenda.
- Collaborate with other directorates and teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve our Trust's goals.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with our stakeholders, including patients, families, carers, and external partners.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our Trust's quality and patient safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our quality and patient safety initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing leadership, quality improvement, and patient safety, and apply this knowledge to inform our practice.
- Substantial post-registration experience at a senior level in an NHS Trust, with a strong background in nursing leadership and quality improvement.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership working.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Strong knowledge of NHS policies and procedures, with a focus on quality and patient safety.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing leadership, quality improvement, and patient safety.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, carers, and external partners.
