Associate Director of Nursing and Quality Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director of Nursing and Quality to join our team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Nursing, Quality and Professions Directorate, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and quality improvement, with experience in leading and managing teams to achieve excellence in patient safety and quality of care. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and strategies to improve patient outcomes, as well as working closely with our Deputy Director of Nursing, Quality and Professions to deliver quality and patient safety targets.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about improving patient care and outcomes, and who has a strong understanding of the NHS and its priorities. You will be a natural leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and patients.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Nursing, Quality and Professions Directorate to deliver high-quality patient care and improve patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies and strategies to improve patient safety and quality of care.
- Work closely with our Deputy Director of Nursing, Quality and Professions to deliver quality and patient safety targets.
- Collaborate with clinicians, managers, and patients to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement plans to improve patient safety and quality of care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement plans to improve staff development and training.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of staff development and training initiatives.
