About Spencer Rose Ltd
Spencer Rose Ltd is a global online business that is undergoing a rapid programme of cyber security enhancement. We are looking for a Head of Cyber Security Operations to report into our CISO.
The Role
The successful applicant for the Head of Cyber Security Operations will:
- Be responsible for liaising and managing the external SOC provider to ensure that out of hours events and monitoring are managed in accordance to the SLA.
- Take ownership of the SOC ensuring that monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management activities are impactful.
- Create and roll out policies for Cyber Security Operations performance ensuring that these are aligned with risk appetite and industry standards.
- Plan the direction of projects whilst keeping in alignment with the business' budgets, priorities and objectives.
- Be an expert in SIEM, SOAR and other Cyber Security Operations tools including vulnerability management, threat intelligence and more.
- Demonstrate strong people management and influencing skills from previous roles.
- Have the ability to manage various concurrent often conflicting projects.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in Cyber Security Operations and management.
- Strong technical skills in SIEM, SOAR and other Cyber Security Operations tools.
- Excellent people management and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage concurrent projects.
