Care Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in a stunning Retirement Village and Nursing Home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and demonstrate empathy and understanding when interacting with residents and their families.

Salary Information

£12.90 per hour, paid weekly

Job Description

As a Care Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and assisting with daily living activities
  • Assisting with meal times, preparing snacks and drinks, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment
  • Participating in leisure activities and outings with residents, promoting social interaction and engagement
  • Working closely with the care team to identify and meet the individual needs of each resident

Benefits and Working Arrangements

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. Shifts will be between 7:00am - 8:00pm, with alternative weekends off. No late nights or on-call shifts are required.
