Job Title: Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at Receptional. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and financial success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management and Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and board reports, present financial figures and findings at monthly Board meetings, and develop and implement KPI reporting.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Responsibilities: Prepare quarterly VAT returns, ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements, and prepare year-end accounts and reconciliations for external accountants.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting, Monitoring, and Strategic Planning: Prepare monthly payroll reports, set up payroll payments, and ensure accuracy, set annual budgets, and conduct monthly reviews to ensure alignment with financial goals, and develop and implement financial strategies to support company growth.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, conduct regular risk assessments, establish and maintain robust internal controls, ensure continuous compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, manage the company's insurance policies, and develop and maintain a crisis management plan.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably in a growing company.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
  • Previous experience managing a finance team.
  • Ability to delegate and manage the work of others.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including formulas and modelling.
  • Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
  • Proficiency in producing management accounts and financial analysis.
  • Good knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to accommodate urgent requests.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
