Commercial Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team at Wells & Co in Bedford. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making and drive growth across our Pub Division and Brewery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver commercial insights and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and performance management.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on divisional performance, including variances to budget and latest forecast.
  • Lead the development and implementation of budget and forecasting processes for sales and gross profit across divisions.
  • Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities through price optimization and tender reviews.
  • Streamline and improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce duplication.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with finance, sales, marketing, production, and purchasing teams to drive business improvement.
Requirements:
  • Qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA with a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial finance.
  • Advanced Microsoft skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of EPOS data and/or business intelligence applications.
  • Strong analytical and excel modeling skills, with the ability to identify profit drivers and produce insightful analysis.
  • Results-focused, responsive, and able to deliver work on time.
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
