Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at FCC Environment. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Engineering function across four quarry sites and three engineering workshops.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Engineering function to ensure the health and safety of staff, contractors, and visitors to site.
- Minimise the effect of the engineering function on the environment.
- Plan and execute engineering projects in line with the annual budget.
- Manage engineering staff and contractors, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all types of quarrying plant.
- Develop and promote good communications and professional relationships between all levels of staff and employees on site.
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of all types of quarrying plant.
- At least five years of management experience in the Quarry or similar industrial facility.
- A QCF 6/NVQ4 in Extractives Management or be willing to study for it.
- A qualified electrician or extensive electrical knowledge would be preferred.
