**Job Summary**
FCC Environment is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Quarry Operations team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering functions across four quarry sites and three engineering workshops.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the engineering staff and contractors to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our quarry sites and engineering workshops.
- Develop and implement engineering projects to meet the annual budget and minimize the environmental impact of our operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff, contractors, and visitors.
- Manage the maintenance and repair of all plant and equipment, including electrical installations, fabrication, and welding works.
- Recruit, train, and develop engineering staff to ensure the team has the necessary skills and expertise to meet the demands of the role.
**Requirements**
- At least five years of management experience in a quarry or similar industrial facility.
- Qualified electrician or extensive electrical knowledge preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
