Job Title: Technical Case Manager Lead - Private Health Insurance

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Technical Case Manager to lead our team in handling medical emergency assistance claims for Private Health Insurance clients. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a portfolio of complex medical emergency assistance claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gathering information from various sources to determine claim validity and processing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of case activities, including correspondence and interactions with customers, healthcare providers, and other relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting, claims processing, and customer service, to ensure seamless claim handling and customer experience.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members, promoting best practices and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and delivering results-oriented outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and product updates, applying this knowledge to improve claim handling processes and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in a related field, such as insurance, healthcare, or business administration.
  • Proven experience in medical emergency assistance claims handling, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including annual leave, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.
