About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Librarian to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our library services team, you will be responsible for providing information and library services to all users of the multidisciplinary library.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of library services to North Middlesex University Hospital Trust staff and students.
  • Deliver training and enquiry services to staff across the Trust.
  • Undertake searches of the healthcare literature to answer information requests from users.
  • Develop and run training courses, design training materials, and presentations to increase library awareness and train users in search skills.
  • Contribute to the development, delivery, and evaluation of current awareness services.

Requirements

  • Degree or Postgraduate qualification in librarianship or a related discipline.
  • Excellent IT skills, including word processing, databases, Outlook, and use of web-based resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
