About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Lead Academic Liaison Librarian to join our team at Goldsmiths, University of London. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaison and business relationship management for all academic departments and faculties.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Law, Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship, Management Studies, Media and Communications, and Sociology, although flexibility is key to ensure continuous support for all departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with academic staff to provide tailored information literacy training and research support
  • Design and deliver digital skills workshops using Critical Information Literacy approaches
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and promote library services across the university
  • Maintain excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders

Requirements

  • Library and Information Science qualification or equivalent skills and knowledge
  • Experience in designing and delivering information literacy programs
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
