Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Chubb Fire & Security Group is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Blackburn. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our design and build projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer Main Contracts, including project control information, change management, and cash collection.
  • Manage Subcontract Agreements, ensuring best practices are adopted and implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide advisory services on standard forms of agreement, including JCT, NEC, and ICE.
Project Accounting:
  • Perform periodic cost value reconciliations.
  • Forecast and monitor cash flow.
  • Monitor budget against expenditure and report on variances.
  • Value change.
Project Management:
  • Work with the Project Manager to identify early warnings within the subcontract environment.
  • Assist in the administration of instructions and the like.
  • Prepare accurate project control information to evaluate progress against the agreed construction programme.
Requirements:
  • Experience with JCT, NEC, and ICE standard forms of agreement.
  • Extensive experience as a site Senior QS with a main contractor or similar organisation.
  • Successful financial delivery in a challenging contracting environment.
  • Adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures.
