The Role

We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Ramsay Health Care Clinical. As a key member of our theatre department, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and anaesthetists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical process
  • Prepare and maintain operating theatres, equipment, and instruments to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in theatre team meetings to discuss patient care and surgical procedures
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures

Requirements

  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • 3 years minimum surgical scrub experience
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
