We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Radiographer, you will play a key role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist radiologists and other radiographers in patient examinations, ensuring a high level of patient care and comfort.
- Undertake radiographic duties, including supervisory responsibilities, to maintain a high-quality service.
- Liaise with other disciplines within the Trust and Directorate to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Participate in the radiology shift system, including rotation through CT, general x-ray, fluoroscopy, theatre, ED, mobile work, and other flexible working commitments.
- Undertake tasks for which a radiographer has been trained, including practitioner, radiology assistant, or clerical duties.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times, maintaining high standards of appearance, hygiene, and competence.
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography (DCR or BSc) and HCPC registration.
- Substantial NHS general radiographic experience, with evidence of CT working and basic scanning competencies.
- Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with a professional attitude to working in a pressurized environment.
- Commitment to department and colleagues, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
- Knowledge of current trends and Ionising Radiation Regulations, with an appreciation of the whole Radiology service and its role in the patient pathway.
