About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at The Grange Therapeutic School. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education support services to our students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher/tutor in delivering a high-quality education to all students
  • Implement education policies and procedures in accordance with Company standards
  • Provide individual or group support to students to enable them to access the curriculum independently
  • Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of students in line with Company policies
  • Ensure efficient use and maintenance of equipment and resources, reporting any issues to staff
  • Support the class teacher/tutor in organizing the classroom and its resources to provide a stimulating learning environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual student documentation, including Behaviour Support Profile, Individual Risk Assessment, and Individual Education Plan
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher/tutor to ensure student safety, in line with risk assessments
  • Produce resources and teaching aids at the request of the class teacher/tutor
