We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at The Grange Therapeutic School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of our students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality education support to students, working closely with the class teacher and other members of the team to ensure a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the development of individualized education plans, ensuring that students receive tailored support to meet their unique needs.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive classroom environment, promoting positive relationships and behaviors among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons, incorporating a range of teaching strategies and resources.
- Provide one-to-one support to students, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the well-being and resilience of all students.
The Grange Therapeutic School is a specialist school for young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Our school is based in a beautiful Victorian country house near Oakham, with stunning views and excellent facilities.
