SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at The Grange Therapeutic School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of our students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality education support to students, working closely with the class teacher and other members of the team to ensure a tailored and inclusive learning experience.
- Support the development of individualized education plans, ensuring that students' needs are met and their progress is monitored.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting positive relationships and behaviors among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons, incorporating a range of teaching strategies and resources.
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of classroom resources, ensuring that materials are accessible and usable for all students.
- Support the class teacher in writing and updating documentation, including behavior support profiles, individual risk assessments, and communication profiles.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other staff to ensure the safety and well-being of students, both on and off site.
The Grange Therapeutic School is a specialist independent school for young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
