The Christie NHS FT is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Researcher in Blood Disorders to join their research team. As a key member of the haematology team, you will conduct research studies, develop and implement new treatments, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in blood disorders.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, researchers, and patients, to ensure high-quality research and outcomes.

About the role:

  • Conduct research studies in blood disorders, including haematological malignancies and non-malignant disorders.
  • Develop and implement new treatments and services within the haematology department.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality research and outcomes.
  • Promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in specific areas of haematology, such as stem cell transplantation and bone marrow failure.

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience in research studies, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
  • Advanced Communication Skills training.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in haematology/oncology/cancer care and/or acute medical care.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
