Genomics Test Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including:
- High throughput clinical genome sequencing and other clinical assays as needed
- Continuous process and service improvement
- Maintaining ISO 15189 and other accreditation and regulatory agency standards and regulations
- Performing laboratory assays, including clinical and development testing
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Clinical experience with various molecular techniques
- HCPC registration preferred
- Experience with nucleic acid–based assays
- Must be detail oriented, highly organized, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working Conditions:
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, with exposure to blood borne pathogens and hazardous chemicals. A weekend rotation may be required.
