Job Title: Microbiological Research and Validation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Microbiological Research and Validation Specialist to join our team at Kenton Black Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced pharmaceutical testing laboratory, conducting microbiological testing, validation, and environmental monitoring.

About the Role:
This role involves reviewing environmental monitoring samples, performing media preparation and culturing microorganisms, conducting microbiology testing, including bioburden testing, sterility testing, and bacterial endotoxin testing, and verifying laboratory data.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct microbiological testing and validation
- Review and reconcile environmental monitoring samples
- Perform environmental monitoring, media preparation, and culturing microorganisms
- Conduct microbiology testing, including bioburden testing, sterility testing, and bacterial endotoxin testing
- Verify laboratory data and perform data review

What You'll Need:
- Degree in Microbiology or related field
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical testing laboratory
- Experience in conducting environmental monitoring
- Fast-paced commercial analytical testing laboratory experience

Benefits:
This is a shift microbiologist role, working a 2-week 11-hour shift rota, including nights and weekends. A competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year is offered, reflecting the company's commitment to attracting top talent.
