Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting senior colleagues with the management of business sales as part of a project team. You will also be responsible for a variety of meetings including 'inspections' (client pitches) with business owners, liaising with sector professionals/introducers, delivering presentations and attending exhibitions & conferences.
Key Responsibilities- Assist senior colleagues with the management of business sales as part of a project team
- Conduct 'inspections' (client pitches) with business owners and liaise with sector professionals/introducers
- Deliver presentations and attend exhibitions & conferences
- Estimate the value of businesses using correct estimation calculations and processes
- Prepare marketing literature, manage enquiries from interested parties, encourage offers and negotiate sales
- Arrange & follow up viewings and process offers including buyer due diligence
- Progress sales by liaising with key contacts, including solicitors
- Provide ongoing advice to clients to ensure a successful outcome
- Utilize our advanced Salesforce CRM system to manage the sale processes and deliver real-time, accurate reporting
- Develop your own portfolio of business sales across the region
- Network with fellow professionals, industry contacts and influencers
- Work as part of our motivated team to enhance our reputation and profile UK wide
Professional Experience
- Previous experience within an Estate Agency business; Desirable
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills; Essential
- Very strong IT skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Essential
- Knowledge of the property sector and property trends; Desirable
- Relevant Real Estate degree; Desirable
- Experience of working with Salesforce; Desirable
