Business Agent/ Business Broker Job Description

We are Christie & Co, a leading specialist advisor for buying and selling businesses in various sectors, including hotels, pubs, restaurants, childcare, healthcare, convenience retail, leisure, and medical. With 90 years of experience, we offer professional brokerage and advisory services, with a network of 13 offices in the UK and 12 in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior colleagues in managing business sales as part of a project team, utilizing exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Dental sector and be responsible for meetings, including client pitches, liaising with sector professionals, delivering presentations, and attending exhibitions & conferences.
  • Estimate business value using correct calculations and processes, and prepare marketing literature to attract interested parties.
  • Manage enquiries, encourage offers, and negotiate sales, arranging viewings and processing offers, including buyer due diligence.
  • Progress sales by liaising with key contacts, including solicitors, and provide ongoing advice to clients to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Utilize our advanced Salesforce CRM system to manage sales processes and deliver real-time, accurate reporting.
  • Develop a portfolio of business sales across the region and network with fellow professionals, industry contacts, and influencers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within an Estate Agency business is desirable.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills are essential.
  • Very strong IT skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential.
  • Knowledge of the property sector and property trends is desirable.
  • Relevant Real Estate degree is desirable.
  • Experience of working with Salesforce is desirable.
