Teaching Assistant Opportunity in SEMH School

We are proud to be supporting a local SEMH school in Boston, who are looking to add a number of Teaching Assistants to their team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis. The school offers a competitive pay rate of up to £95 per day.

About the Role

The school can accommodate either full-time educators or those who can commit to 2-4 days per week, but must be full days as no morning/afternoon shifts are available. Groups are based on ability, not age, and you could be supporting pupils aged 6-16. Each group consists of no more than 6 pupils, with a minimum of 3 staff members.

The pupils can be challenging, and all candidates should be resilient, adaptable, and creative. You must be thick-skinned and able to work effectively in a team.

Working Hours and School Environment

Working hours are 0830 - 1600. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects every candidate to share this commitment. Placements are subject to appropriate Child Protection screening, including checks with former employers and the Disclosure and Barring Checks.

Meet and Greet

The school would like to invite any suitable interested educators in for a meet-and-greet at the earliest opportunity, which will include a tour of the school, meeting the Head Teacher, and discussing more about the responsibilities of this role.
