Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, including those with ADHD and behavioral difficulties.
  • Assist teachers with classroom duties, such as preparing materials and maintaining a safe learning environment.
  • Support students with their academic and personal development, promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with ADHD and behavioral difficulties.
  • Ability to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and students to achieve academic and personal goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
